The Stanthorpe Nine

This publication focuses on nine of Stanthorpe's rarest plants. Populations of some of these species have diminished to as few as 20 individuals. Some are found only in the Stanthorpe area, while others occur only in protected areas such as national parks or state forests.
The Stanthorpe Nine are:
- Kardoma granitica (formerly Babingtonia granitica)
- Boronia granitia
- Boronia repanda
- Diuris parvipetala
- Eucalyptus baueriana (formerly Eucalyptus magnificata)
- Grevillea scortechnii subsp. scortechnii
- Homoranthus montanus
- Melaleuca williamsii (formerly Callistemon pungens)
- Phebalium glandulosum subsp. eglandulosum
Included in the publication are plant descriptions, images showing diagnostic features, human practices threatening their existence, regional ecosystems, and advice on how to protect these species should they occur on your property.
