To cater for numerous enquiries about organic products, BLOG has prepared a resource list of member producers who would like to sell to BLOG members and the general public.

The only condition for listing is that contributors must be current financial members of BLOG and maintain that membership while listed

Beef
SWEETWATER ORGANICS - ORGANIC GRASS FED BEEF AVAILABLE
The meat is from Angus/Angus cross young cattle raised at Sweetwater in the Liston area and fattened on Mallow just west of Stanthorpe – certified organic, grass fed and raised and grown with loving care.
The meat is packed and sealed in 1kg Kryo Vacc bags and available in 10, 20, 30 kg boxes. Each box will contain a mixture of all cuts plus sausages and mince. Price - $15.50/kg
Bulk packs are also available -
¼ of a beast (approx 40-45kg) - $14.00/kg
½ a beast (approx 80-90kg) - $13.00/kg

Compost
Compost can be obtained from Peter Dart if you collect the compost from the farm and supply your own bags.
Contact Peter Dart at 07 4683 7133. It is essential to telephone first.
Compost Tea
Compost tea contains millions of beneficial soil organisms, and when applied to the soil or leaf surfaces, promotes healthy, more nutritious plants.
Available in small or large amounts for farm or garden. $1 per litre for less than 100 litres, and $120 for 200 litres plus delivery.

Diatomite for chooks
The use of diatomite or diatomaceous earth is as a
feed additive and for the control of red mites. At 246 Leechs Gully Rd,
Tenterfield is a supply of 5Kg bags of Absorbacide for red mite control at
$16.50 per bag including GST and 20Kg bags of Diatomite Fines to add to feed at
$18.15 per bag including GST.

Now we can also supply you with organic bread, meat, preserves, tea and a wide range of dry goods. You simply subscribe, pay in advance, and choose what you want each week from our easy to use online shopping system.
Pick up for Stanthorpe is Wednesday from 16 Passmore Road (Diagonally opposite Queensland College of Wine Tourism) between 3pm and 6pm.
Pick up for Tenterfield is on Thursday morning at 140 Homestead Road (7km north of town).

Garlic
Rochford Organic Garlic sells Certified A grade Organic Garlic (Cert. No. 163 OGA).
We have two varieties – Oriental Purple and Giant Russian. We harvest the Purple in early November and the Russian late November early December.
We are happy to send a minimum of 2kg. The price is on current market prices at the time plus postage and handling.

Lamb
Mallow Certified Organic lamb (10820A) is grass and pasture fed, and locally produced 20 km west of Stanthorpe.
It is available at the Market in the Mountains once a month as notified in the paper.
Boxed lots are also available at $134 for half a lamb [$16.75 / kg], and $250 for a whole lamb [$15.63 / kg]. These can be delivered for a small charge, or collected from the Market in the Mountains.
