There will be demonstrations of various techniques such as jam making both on a stovetop and using a Thermomix, Vacola bottling, using a dehydrator to make “sun dried tomatoes” plus other good old fashioned cooking methods.
When: Saturday 25th February
Where: Glen Aplin Hall Queensland. Turn west off the New England Highway at the Liberty Glen Aplin Service Station, cross the rail line and turn right then left into Foster Street.
Please note the earlier starting time of 9.30 am Queensland time to allow for preparation of the produce to be preserved. It is expected that lunch will be at about 12.30pm. The day is free and visitors are most welcome. Bring lunch to share and eating and drinking utensils. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
