The next BLOG event will be on Saturday, 18th June - Personal Stories of Health Success

Christine and Rex Maddocks will lead a session on health success stories from their own and others’ personal experience.

“Our starting point has always been that good health is your greatest asset and that everyone can take some responsibility to help yourself even as you use the benefits of both conventional and alternative medicine. If diagnosed with an ailment we always look for ways where we can be active participants in the healing process. We research the evidence available by reading extensively as well as listening to the success stories of other people. What we have found is that there are few quick fixes- rather by persistence and some hard work you may get a very successful result requiring less medical treatment.

We feel fortunate to live in a time where knowledge is available. Our successes include the following conditions-asthma and allergies, vertigo, migraine, tinnitus and chronic back pain. Other participants will discuss their own stories of triumph over Type 2 diabetes and crippling knee pain.

Speaking from a non-medical viewpoint remedial options will be presented that may support the body’s own repair systems. We will make available a list of supplementary inputs we have used as well as books and resources we have found helpful.”

The day is free and all visitors are welcome.  The venue is the Wallangarra School of Arts Hall. Bring lunch to share -tea and coffee supplied.

Starting time 10am-Lunch around 12.30
