Family Support
Granite Belt Family Support Service
The Family Support Service, funded by the Department of Family and Community Services, aims to provide families with access to the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to enhance their care for children. The service provides support to families in their homes and aims to strenghten relationships between families and other services including schools, child care providers etc.
The service provides:
- Parenting workshops
- Access to information sheets and other parenting resources
- Links to other local and regional services
- Individual advocacy and the active encouragement of self-help
The service is free and is available to all families within the Stanthorpe Shire.
