I love my coffee and I've been to every one of these coffee shops trying to determine who can best satisfy my need for caffeine  ;D

Here's a map of all the coffee shops listed

If your favourite is missing, please let me know and I'll add it to the poll.

Simon,

you need to get out of Stanthorpe and roam around the area to try the numerous coffee shops out there!
Giardinos, Singing Lake (Robert Channon winery), Heritage Winery, Hoffee's Coffee, Summit Estate, Vincenzos,
Bella Rosa's, Hi Value (Sutton's) etc etc etc and these are just the ones north of Stanthorpe!

Regards,

Keith.

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the recommendations, and I must say they are all good.  However the point of this exercise, well at least for me, was to evaluate all the coffee shops within walking distance of my office in Stanthorpe. :)

I guess the topic should be, where do you go for your daily brew?

Simon

I've got a question...  Which coffee shops are open on a Sunday?

My husband, Chris, loves his coffee and gets grumpy when he has to go without.  ;) As we seem to be passing through Stanthorpe only on Sundays when we do our trips to Girraween, it would also be good to know which ones will be open - and have the best service (we're usually in a hurry), as well as which has the best brew.

Hi Gugglebun,

If you're coming from the north you'll find Vincenzo's at the big apple open at 9 am, but Bella Rosa's, just off the highway near the big apple is open from 7am everyday. They don't do cappuchino, but have good filter offee and a great atmosphere.

Failing that the visitor information centre down by Quart Pot Creek has a sheet detailing the opening times of most of the cafes in the area.

Regards,

Keith.

Thanks Keith!

We've already been to Vincenzo's, but we might try Bella Rosa's on our next trip. Good that it's open so early too.

I am surprised that Hoffee's Coffee is not listed within the survey. They surely serve the Granite Belt's best brew. It is an Italian coffee called Caffe Landucci from a small Italian town in Tuscany called Lucci. It is beautifully smooth and flavoursome.

The Queensland supplier is Caffe Landucci (Qld)phone 0739015291

Hi Rossa,

Thanks for the info, I haven't made it out to Hoffee's yet (it's a bit far to walk).  Maybe we should start a new thread dedicated to all the great coffee spots in the Granite Belt.

Hi,
If you're coming from the north you'll find Vincenzo's at the big apple open at 9 am. It's also chill in Sydney this morning... so much so that I have a thick pair of leggings on under my work, as well as coat, scarf, gloves and a good cofee etc. It sure was difficult to get out of bed this morning!

We are about 3000 feet above sea level, which means fresh air cool nights log fires white frosts sunny days, four distinct seasons and of course, the best climate for growing wine grapes olives stonefruit, apples & pears, berries, lavender and roses.
